  30th, Jan,2014 is chinese Spring Festival, it's the real new year for chinese people.

and The Spring festival is the most important festival in China.It is on January 1st according to the Chinese lunar calendar.
It's China's New year's Day

about 1 week before the festival,
people start clean the house,  buy food clothes and decorations, Pasting Spring Couplets and Pictures

on the new year's night ,
people will Firecrackers , with the lively noise to celebrate new years coming  
some area Prepare a hearty dinner,contain Chicken,Duck,fish,meal and other  Specialties prepared specifically for the Chinese New Year,very delicious!
some area like north will eat dumplings. all family prepare dumpling and enjoy it!
after dinner, we always  talking, watch TV ,firework outdoor, play ...
The childrenare the happiest of all because they can get presents and gift money from their parents  grand-parents Elder for New Year wishes to congratulate the peace
